On day one, we shot in a Sydney park which wasn't very steep for the IFAA round and after it I was leading by 26 points which certainly surprised me. The second day was much tougher doing a FITA Marked Round in bush country in Illawarra with plenty of awkward and steep shots. I frittered all of the lead away by the halfway point. Then we traded the lead for the next few ends before I finally got the hang of field shooting and pulled away gradually towards the end. Next up is target archery for which it is forecast to be windy over the next two days.
