- Sight change brings results
David Lilley
A week ago I had an interesting problem - I could group arrows quite tightly (4by4 metric zones ie. gold width) on an 80cm face at 50m-60y but the group kept on moving around. A couple of days ago, I changed the sight aperture to one which has no sight in the middle and it has resulted in tight groups end after end in the same place. Even ropey shots have slightly better results. I think I was trying to look for the gold through the previously cluttered bow sight aperture but now with the view totally clear I am now forced into looking at the gold without trying too hard to do it or moving the bow sideways to see the gold. The results would appear to support this.
