- New strings and cables - big difference
David Lilley
With new strings and cables fitted last Wednesday, I've done a lot of shooting since and it's made a big difference. Groups are now much tighter at distances between 30-55m and I'm much happier as a result. The old cable was very worn and had worn through the serving by the roller exposing the strands. The new string and cable feel completely different and for the first time in nearly nine years shooting a compound it now feels like I'm shooting a 15lb training bow when holding it a full draw. I will need some new arrows soon as I'm smashing up a few now and running out of decent ones.
