- Arrows flying everywhere
David Lilley
Despite the fantastic shooting weather over the last week, the shooting hasn't been going well as for some reason the arrows are flying evrywhere, making me look like a beginner. I think the problem is the bowstring. Fortunately, I've got a new string and cable on order so it's a case of waiting for them to arrive. It's a real pity as last Monday in quite windy conditions, I shot exceptionally well at 60y, averaging 208 for each 24 arrow set over the 12 dozen practice. Since then the arrows have been doing funny things and I'm sure it is not me. There have been alot of right-sided flyers but this seems to be down to the wear and tear on the bowstring having shot over 10,000 arrows since I bought the bow last year.
