    Back shooting after weather break

    David Lilley

For probably the final time in 2009 I did some practice at 60m and 70m in light winds in very chilly conditions. I have been working on my stance and upper body balance and this produced spectacularly good groups at 70m. This continued at first at 60m until the chill really set in and it affected my shooting. Overall I'm happy with what I did. I will continue to work on the stance and balance as this is the root cause of the bad shots. When I get it right, the groups are much tighter even at the bigger distances.

Mathews are still taking an age to supply my new bow for shooting with a release aid. It will be a Conquest 4 as the Conquest Apex was discontinued at the start of November. Hurry up Mathews, it's quicker!
